All medication and durable medical devices that are directly related to the patient’s diagnosis and hospice care are covered by Hospice. The hospice nurse will work with you and your family to identify the equipment and supplies necessary to meet the goals of the care plan. Families will also receive education about the safe and effective use of medical equipment from both the equipment company and the hospice nurse.
