Our Hospice Aides Offer:
Our aides provide help with essential personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting, ensuring patients are comfortable and maintain their dignity during these intimate moments.
We assist patients with moving, transferring between positions, and repositioning in bed or chairs, helping them avoid discomfort and maintain as much independence as possible.
Hospice Aides offer more than physical care; they provide a warm, empathetic presence, offering companionship and emotional support to both patients and their families during this challenging time.
To create a comfortable living environment, our aides assist with light housekeeping tasks, such as tidying up, and help with meal preparation to ensure patients are nourished and their surroundings remain clean.
Aides are trained to closely observe any changes in the patient’s condition and report these to the Registered Nurse (RN) and other members of the hospice care team, ensuring that every aspect of care is continuously tailored to the patient’s needs.
Working alongside our interdisciplinary care team, Hospice Aides contribute to maintaining the highest standards of care, ensuring the patient’s physical, emotional, and spiritual needs are met.
